Located in quiet village Drinovci, just 7 km from the border with Croatia, spreading on almost 5000 m2 land, it is perfect getaway for families with children and large groups, who can relax from tourist hustle in peaceful and natural ambient, but still enjoy numerous activities that are provided on the property and around it.
Holiday home Medo is the result of over 40 years of hard work, tradition and love of family Šimi?, as can be seen on many things, from their warmth and hospitality to numerous details in and around the home like handmade stone water pipe to carefuly cultivated garden etc.
Home itself is adapted in two separate areas. In one there there is kitchen with all the necessary appliances and dining table, spacious living room with comfy couches and cable TV, and within there is also a space where guest can taste quality homemade wine, but also with a great selection of other wines. But that’s not all – just next to the living room there is a lounge, where guests can keep themselves entertained by playing poker on big poker table or play various board games. Also, not one but two pool tables are available for guest. Table tennis is also one of the activities provided. On the upper floor there is a cozy cinema room where guests can get comfortable and relax by watching movies on big screen. In other area, there are three bedrooms with two single beds each and one bedroom with queen sized bed and single bed, two bathrooms and a gym. 3 extra beds can also be added if necessary. WiFi is accessible all over the house and property.
Just in front of the house is a spacious and covered patio with sitting area and a big dining table, which is a beautiful place to have breakfast in the morning. Fruits and vegetables remain most of the season, and the garden is available at anytime for guests to pick. On the terrace there is also a big barbecue – which is combination of brick and stone, where guests can have fun in the afternoons and evenings while preparing themselves all sorts of meals. Guests will also be able to try homemade cookies.
In front of the house there is a modern pool with sun chairs for guests to escape the heat. Every stone around the pool is beatifully hand crafted with all kind of shapes. Pool is surrounded with grass and orchard with olive trees, where you can relax by sitting on wooden benches, read a book in a hammock between trees or just lay and enjoy sun. And there are plenty sunny days during whole year in this part of Herzegovina. During the night the lights on the pool are turned on, which gives really special and intimate feel. If you have children, don’t worry, there is a great outdoor playground, where your kids can play and have fun, while you are relaxing by the pool.
Hosts are available to You during your whole stay. Upon your request, they can make breakfast, which is all organic – it consist of fresh domestic eggs, all sort of homemade cheese, meat products, fruit and vegetables, cookies, pancakes, coffee, tea and anything else on guests demand. Price of breakfast is 7 euros per person.
On their disposal, guests also have four bikes, which is great way to explore the area and its landscape. Horse club is also near the propertry, and that is also one of the things you might want to try. For adventurous kind, there is a boulder for climbers near the holiday home. Parking spots under the shade are also provided.
