You will find our apartment in Sensweiler, a rural community on the German gemstone road, in the middle of the National Park Hunsrück-Hochwald
The lovingly furnished bright apartment, located on the first floor of our residential building and offers an excellent starting point for extensive hiking tours on the very well-signposted dream loops in the hiking region Saarland- Hunsrück. The central location of the apartment enables our guests to its relatively short distance routes to attractive destinations. So the gem city Idar-Oberstein can be reached in 15 minutes. But a trip to the Moselle wine region, with its many castles and the small, quaint wine towns is highly recommended and can be reached in 30 minutes. Germany’s oldest city, Trier, is worth 50 km and definitely a trip. Hahn airport is about 20 minutes away from our house. Features of the apartment include: a flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a new, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, information material on various hiking tours and tourist attractions. You can also use the large garden with barbecue, outdoor seating and garden chairs. A washing machine and a dryer may, by prior arrangement, like to be shared.
