It is modern and equipped with all modern comforts, and is ideal for all holiday makers, especially families with children will enjoy it because it is right next to a farm. There is a breathtaking view from the holiday home of the Hohe Tauern national park. Because of its unique and high location, the view of the village is also very impressive. In the summer season, Mittersill has plenty of activities on offer and benefits from its central location. The immediate surroundings offer many walking and mountaineering options. There is also an 18-hole-golf-course is close by. You can explore the surrounding area on two wheels on the Tauernradweg cycling route. The nearby swimming lake known as Hollersbacher Badesee is the perfect place to unwind. You can go skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding or you can go on ski tours in the impressive ski area of Kitzbuehel. Ski lifts are easily accessible as these are served by the ski bus and the ski train. Both are free of charge. You can go tobogganing, snow shoe hiking, or on horse sledge trips all over the region, and and the longest natural toboggan run in Europe (14 km) in the nearby – on Friday evenings there is even a free joint toboggan run.
