Property Description
The 200 year old house is located in the small village of Messern, about 15 km west of Horn on about 500 meters altitude. It lies at the foot of a church surrounded by 2000 square meters of garden. It has been family owned since 1928 and meanwhile the generation of great-grandchildren living in southern Germany is enjoying it. The stone-walled house is ideal for the summer. Forest, meadows and waters in the surrounding area provide for real summer freshness even on hot days. The house was thoroughly renovated in 2018 (floors and brushwork).
The house can also be used for seven people – the attic room offers three sleeping possibilities. But is only accessible via an adventurous steep staircase – therefore we do not give this accommodation under the roof as a “normal” rental, but as an option with the special feature of “steep stairs”.
