Our romantic, over 300 years old villa is located in sunny location on a hill close to the Danube and the idyllic Donausee. The unique cultural landscape of the Wachau with rolling hills, fields and meadows invites you to relax and “decelerate”.
Swimming, water sports, cycling / mountain biking, hiking, golf course and many cultural activities nearby.
The house with 110 m2 of living space was renovated by us authentically and with great attention to detail. We have received the old substance and the building with fine furniture from 5 decades in Shabby Chic and industrial look and modern technology equipped. A highlight is the collection of art that can be found throughout the house and on the facade.
A comfortable kitchen with bar-table, large living room with two sofa beds and a dining table for 6 people, one bedroom with two beds and spacious wardrobe, a small study with sofa and desk, and a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet and a storage room offer every of space for up to four people. A special feature is the carved into the natural rock earth cellar, kept cool in the beverage and bicycles can be parked.
Two covered and furnished terraces complement the living area.

Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove and oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, four coffee machines (Espresso Machines espresso maker for ground coffee or E. S.E Pads, Italian Mocca maker, French press and a filter coffee), kettle, toaster, coffee grinder.
Dishwasher tabs, salt, pepper, sugar and a tea & coffee-initial.
Towels, bath and tea towels, bed linen, hairdryer, soap.
WiFi free. Apple i-Mac computer, sound system with USB and SD interfaces, turntable in the living room.
Safe, stove in the kitchen, automatic central heating with heat pump.
The large garden is at guests’ private use. Here you will find a hammock between two old walnut trees, a fireplace / barbecue and garden chairs. On the large south / west terrace, a dining table is with 8 seats where you can comfortably eat and enjoy a glass of Wachau wine at sunset. On the small south / east terrace breakfast to birdsong in the morning sun tastes especially good. Furthermore, there is a garden canopy bed for daydreaming and many lovingly designed places to stay.

WATER:
– Beach on Donausee in Weitenegg, 10 minutes’ walk. Here there is a pedalo hire, Aqua Jump, large lawn, playground, beach volleyball court, SUP and surfing and gastronomy. Free admission.
– Unspoilt sandy beach directly on the Danube, about 3 km
– Swimming in Melk (8 km)
– And more beaches (sand or gravel) along the Danube or on the Pielach
SPORTS:
Mountain biking, cycling on the Danube Bike Trail (bike rental Nextbike nearby), roller skating, hiking, running (just behind the house or in the Au along the Danube), Walking (beautiful panorama), fishing, golf course in Maria Taferl (12 km)
WINE:
Visit the world famous Wachau wine region and turn in to one of the numerous wine-wine tavern.
CULTURE:
Summer Games Melk in the Wachau Arena,
Benediktinerkloster Stift Melk, Oskar Kokoschka Museum in Pöchlarn, cultural workshop Joinery Melk, exhibitions, museums.
