Our apartment
The apartment is located on the ground floor of our house, has 70 square meters of space for 1 – 4 people and was completely renovated in 2017. You enjoy your stay in an apartment consisting of living room, double bedroom, a new kitchen and a bathroom. In addition, the apartment has a pull-out sofa bed and a sofa chair.
On request cot, high chair, washing machine and dryer are provided.
From the large balcony of hanglagig built house you can enjoy a unique species views of the mountainous landscape of Sauerland.
For your car is available on the premises or in the immediate vicinity of a car park. This is just as free as the wireless connection in the house.
Recreational
The house is located at the gates of the Hanseatic city of Korbach in the district Goldhausen, on the slope of 562 m high iron mountain. The Eisenberg is Germany’s largest gold deposit and still hides 1.2 tons of gold. Here is a walk on the Gold Trail or visiting the gold mine is recommended.
The 24 m high Georg Viktor Tower, built on the Eisenberg, allows an impressive panoramic view over the mountains of the Sauerland, to the Kellerwald, Burgwald or the neighboring North Rhine-Westphalia.
Goldhausen is an ideal starting point to many genuine holiday attractions of the Waldecker Land and neighboring Sauerland. Here offer particularly the three located near lakes (Eder, Twiste- and Diemelsee), the National Park Kellerwald and the attractive ski resorts Willingen and Winterberg for things. The many well-developed bike and hiking trails offer plenty of space for sports activities in the great outdoors.
We provide on request a storeroom z. B. for your bikes or winter sports equipment.
We also recommend a visit to the built in Tudor style Korbacher old town with well preserved medieval city wall and the museum and a visit to the “Korbacher column”. The Korbacher column is 20 meters deep and several meters wide, filled-column in the limestone of a former quarry on the southern edge of Korbach, which is considered important fossil deposit.
