This beautiful chalet was built in 2017; it enjoys a central location between the various skiing areas in the skiing and walking paradise of Lungau. The chalet enjoys a quiet location at the edge of the pleasant village of Mauterndorf, just 10 minutes by car from the motorway and near the Grosseck-Speiereck ski piste. This chalet consists of two identical holiday homes; you’ll be staying in one of them. You can also book the entire chalet, ideal for two families travelling together. On the ground floor you’ll find the pleasant living room with wood stove and open kitchen. Here you’ll also find an extra toilet and the washing machine. Outside, next to the front door, is a storage room for your skiing gear and bicycles. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, each with a modern bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and oven. The chalet features a wonderful garden with terrace, where you can enjoy the fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. During the winter, you can get easily from this chalet to the starting point of skiing area Aineck-Katschberg, with guaranteed snow; but also Grosseck-Speiereck, Fanningberg and Obertauern are popular skiing areas in this region. With the free ski bus or by car you can be on the piste within a few minutes. The area is one of Austria’s top skiing regions, with almost 250 km in prepared pistes with different difficulty levels and altitudes between 1064 and 2410 m. During the summer, this beautiful area offers many hiking, mountain biking, golfing and relaxation possibilities. Mauterndorf is about a 30-minute-drive from the Millstätter See and 45 minutes from the Weissensee. Within walking distance of this Chalet in Mauterndorf there is a beautiful outdoor pool, tennis courts and several good restaurants. In short, really recommended for a wonderful holiday. During stays from 1 June to 31 October, all guests (except school groups) receive the Lungau card for free. This is a benefits card that grants you free access to the cable cars, swimming pools, museums and much more! Please note: this chalet was built in 2018 and is still missing summer photos. The garden and terrace around the chalet will be ready in the summer. New photos will be posted later.
