Our apartment:
The AlpinPark is located in the center of Matrei and offers a well-kept garden with views of the alpine mountains, an outdoor pool (10 x 7 m, 1.40 m deep, heated from June to September, depending on weather conditions, shared use) and a Underground parking with own car parking space.
Our modern, individually and high quality furnished apartment with dishwasher, washer dryer, Nespresso machine, Apple TV and fireplace is located in 2017 completed new building (House G) on the ground floor with terrace, garden furniture and parasol. With two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, families with up to three children can find the perfect room layout for their vacation. Also “for two” in search of rest, peace and a little more space you will feel comfortable here – due to the second bedroom with adjustable futon couch (read) and the additional desk!
The post bus / ski bus can be reached directly in a distance of about 50 m, shops (bakers, butchers) and cafe, restaurants and pizzeria can be found within a distance of about 100 m.

Your holiday destination, Matrei in Osttirol:
Matrei is located in the middle of the holiday region “Hohe Tauern National Park” near Austria’s highest mountain, the Grossglockner!
In the winter …
You can reach the largest ski area in East Tyrol “Großglockner Resort Kals / Matrei” within a few minutes by ski bus – approx. 1200 m to the valley station of the Matreier mountain railways. After skiing, you can warm yourself up by the stove, a starter pack with suitable fuel is provided for you free of charge.
In summer…
You can enjoy numerous water sports on the Isel (rafting) or simply the outdoor swimming pool with deckchairs just around the corner. A visit to the Tristach bathing lake near Lienz is also very popular! Playing tennis is also possible on the courts of the Matreier Tennisunion (separate payment).
In spring and autumn …
lure various hikes and excursions in the largest contiguous nature reserve in Austria, the “National Park Hohe Tauern”. You can also go hiking and jogging the whole year – along the Isel directly from the AlpinPark!
Conditions:
(1) Arrival and departure: always on Saturdays, minimum stay 7 days
(2) Check in: from 16. 00 until 22. 00, check out before 10.00 o’clock at reception of the Hotel Rauter (Rauterplatz 3, 9971 Matrei i. O.) in approx. 100 m distance from the Alpinpark. If you arrive later than 22.00 o’clock, please contact Hotel Rauter on + 43-4875 / 6611,
(3) smoking, events and parties in the apartment are not allowed
(4) Please be careful with the equipment of your apartment, check it on arrival for possible damage. Report any damage you notice on arrival or during use to the reception of Hotel Rauter, thank you!
(5) We assume no responsibility for the use of Wi-Fi during the rental period, please note possible copyrights,
(6) The use of the stove is at your own risk. When using the stove and extractor over the stove, please open a window so that no CO fireplace fire gets into the room air,
(7) Rental price including 1 x bed linen / person, 2 towels / person, 1 x cleaning after departure and electricity, water and heating.
