Comfortable apartments in summer and winter, ideal for families with small children, groups as large as 8 or guests looking for an active holiday in the Bavarian Chiemgauer Alps. From Easter break to the beginning of November, our holiday apartment guests receive special conditions in the Fairytale Adventure Park Marquartstein located nearby (maerchenpark.de). However, the apartments are also located in a fine place to begin diverse summer and winter activities. In summer, hiking paths to various mountain huts as well as mountain bike paths or family friendly bike paths to the lakes run directly in front of our house (nearest swimming 2.5 km away). In addition, the Hochplattenbahn Lift is around the corner (0,5 km walking distance) for easy access to the famous hiking areas around the Bavarian Chiemgauer Alps. In winter, sledding on the Hochplatte (sleds are available for rent at the lift), snow shoeing, ski touring or cross country skiing are all possible directly in Marquartstein when conditions are suitable. The Winklmoos-Steinplatte Ski Resort (steinplatte.at) is just 25 minutes up the pass from us in Reit im Winkl and has skiing for all levels as well as top quality ski rental and two ski schools.
