Each additional person will be accommodated in the two additional bedrooms and costs 21 euros / night including 7% VAT.
Our apartment “Wohnzeit-Marienheide” is a “maisonette”, that is, two floors are connected inside the apartment via a staircase. It offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday or a temporary home on a total of 90 square meters.
It has three separate bedrooms (two on the upper floor of the maisonette), a large daylight bathroom and two daylight guest bathrooms (one on the upper floor).
There are six beds in total and – in case of emergency – a pull-out couch in the living room for our guests.
The cozy kitchen is equipped with oven, induction hob, fridge, toaster, Dolcé Gusto coffee machine, filter coffee machine, kettle, complete pots, dishes, glasses and cutlery. The large extending table and the comfortable chairs invite you to sit, tell, play and eat. You will feel well – promised!
In the living room you can rest on a large couch or cocktail chairs, the large TV is internet-enabled, the wireless (wifi) use is free and landline calls in Germany are also. Some books and games are available, a stereo also.
The living hall with shoe and locker is spacious and is centrally located in the middle of the apartment, from there go star-shaped all rooms.
The hallway leads to the balcony. A wooden staircase leads from the hallway to the two upper bedrooms with the guest toilet.
The main bathroom has a shower and separate bath and a washing machine is also available.
The two smaller bathrooms have toilets and hand basins, plus a tumble dryer and urinal.
The entire apartment is tiled or laid out with laminate.
Marienheide is a small, vibrant community. It has a train station from which you can take the regional train (RB) 25 in the direction of Cologne or Lüdenscheid. The train station (5 minutes walk) can be reached as well as butcher, bakery, pharmacy, banks, greengrocer, supermarket, ice cream parlor, restaurant, flower shop, optician, gas station … in a few minutes on foot. Your car is parked for free in the courtyard of the apartment building.
The A 4 and A 45 motorways can be reached in 10 to 15 minutes by car.
Our apartment is not only centrally located, they are also very fast from there in the countryside.
For example, on the kilometer-long, family-friendly railway path (150 meters away), which leads into the Bergische or on the challenging cycle path along the dams (water quintet route).
You prefer to hike? The Bergisch Fuhrmannsweg starts right in the center – a 13-kilometer, certified hiking trail.
Always nice again is a tour around the Bruchertalsperre (3 miles), a pedal boat ride, the visit of the barrel organ museum in a small village church ….
In 15 minutes by car Gummersbach – or by train ….
There are cinemas, theaters, shops, the TH Cologne – Campus Gummersbach ….
