This attractive group accommodation is situated in the heart of the picturesque town of Manderscheid. Each room features high quality boxspring beds, which can be pushed together or apart, giving you the freedom to adapt the rooms to your needs. There’s a long dining table in the living/dining room, inviting everyone to sit down together for a meal or to play a board game. There’s also a lovely enclosed courtyard. Manderscheid hosts a few good restaurants as well as some nice bars and cafes. There’s also a supermarket where you can get all your groceries and a few other little shops. Manderscheid attracts many tourists, mostly because of its two castles, one opposite the other, indicating that this town used to be on the border between Luxembourg and Germany. Manderscheid makes an ideal base for exploring the Eifel region. There are endless options for walking and cycling. The famous volcanic lakes are also worth a visit. The Meerfelder Maar for example, is around 4 km away. If you’d like to find out more about volcanic lakes, you could visit the Maar Museum.
