In a just 5 min drive you will reach the popular harbour of Agia Efimia with good amenities (cafés, restaurants, shops), the spectacular Myrtos beach and several idyllic white pebble coves with crystal clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The local tavern “Maklithari” is loved by insiders for its good Kefalonian food and the friendly service of the owners and is within 5 min walking distance from the Villa. Here you will also find a cafe with delicious traditional sweets and a mini market.
Villa Vounaki is built and furnished to a very high standard. The living space of some 110 m² is arranged over two floors and provides superior standards of comfort. The tastefully decoration combines traditional style with the latest modern amenities. The perfect equipment will make you feel home away from home. A free wi-fi internet is of course in the Villa provided.
The private pool (width 4 x 7 m / depths 0.50 – 1.50 m) and the pool terrace are set on the south-western side. This location offers plenty of sun during the whole day. 4 steps take you from the pool terrace to a comfortable seating area shaded by a pergola with marvelous panoramic views of the mountains of Pylaros. Here you can relax and enjoy the privacy you look for during your holidays in Kefalonia.
Two further terraces, one on the east and one on the west side provide further sitting facilities with both sun and shade. They are equipped with comfortable wooden furniture, sun umbrellas, a mobile gas grill and a mobile electic grill.
The secluded terraces and the pool offer a high level of privacy and are set within beautifully landscaped Mediterranean gardens with colourful geraniums, roses, oleanders and local sweet herbs.
