Our apartment is located in a beautiful forest location in a well-kept private house about 20 km southeast of Frankfurt am Main in Obertshausen. The terrace invites to a cozy stay. The total of 96 sqm living space spread over a spacious living and dining area, a fitted kitchen with dishwasher, two separate bedrooms, a daylight bathroom with shower and toilet and a separate guest toilet. Parking is available directly in front of and behind the house. A bus stop to the S-Bahn stop in Obertshausen can be reached in two to three minutes on foot. Good shopping and restaurants, banks, post office and doctors are in the immediate vicinity. A visit to other interesting cities next Frankfurt am Main such as Aschaffenburg, Darmstadt, Hanau, Mainz, Offenbach, Seligenstadt and Wiesbaden are worthwhile. From S-Bahn station Obertshausen there is a direct connection via Frankfurt am Main to Mainz and Wiesbaden. The recreational areas Odenwald, Spessart and Taunus invite u. a. to hike and are easily reached by car. The Messel Pit, UNESCO World Heritage Site is about 32 km away and can be reached via the B45 in about 30 minutes. Our water park ‘Monte Mare’ is located on the outskirts and there are very good parking facilities available. The next outdoor pool is easily reached in 5 to 10 minutes by bike and is located in our neighboring town Mühlheim / Lämmerspiel. Seligenstadt with its half-timbered houses, basilica and Kostergarten is worth seeing. In the Brothers Grimm city Hanau is the castle Philippsruhe and in the district Klein Auheim is the wildlife park ‘Fasanerie’ with high ropes course. In Offenbach am Main, this is beyond the borders of Offenbach and Frankfurt, the well-known German Leather Museum and the Klingspor Museum. On Offenbacher Wilhelmsplatz there is a wonderful weekly market on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Around the weekly market are restaurants, cafes and bistros located and invite you to linger. The visit to the weekly market could be crowned on Saturdays with a visit to the Offenbacher flea market. This is one of the most beautiful of its kind in Germany. Its location on the Maindamm is unique. We welcome families with and without children, business travelers and all other guests. Since we offer a non-smoking holiday smokers are allowed to dodge the terrace.
