Rattenberg, with some 420 inhabitants, is the smallest city of Austria, situated in a very central position of the lower Inn-valley in the province of Tyrol. Only 30 min. from Innsbruck airport (45 km) or 100 min from Munich airport (Germany), 15 min to the ski area of nearby Alpbach, 30 minutes to the best ski slopes of the nearby famous Zillertal Valley or just 1 hour to famous Kitzbühel, one of Europes most fashionable ski and golf resorts. The biggest lake of the Tyrol province, Lake Achensee, is just a 15 min drive from Rattenberg and ideal for swimming and sailing. The town has its own federal railway station (local trains stop; express train station Jenbach is 12 km from here) and is very easily accessible by the main motorway A-14 (exit Kramsach/Brixlegg/Alpbach), but also connected to the public bus system. But THE highlight of Rattenberg is certainly the privilege to be one of the very few pedestrian towns in the Alps (cars allowed to drive in the town limited to 6-10 a.m. and 5-7 pm). The nearby motorway to Munich/ Salzburg/Vienna and Innsbruck/Brenner/Milano/Zurich offers lots of travel and business opportunities. 1,5 hr drive to Munich/Germany and Salzburg City, 1 hr to the Italian border (Brennerpass). A perfect central location for trips and excursions to 3 countries in the midst of the Tyroelan holiday mountains, but also for skiing, biking and hiking in the beautiful Tyrolean alpine mountains ! Rattenberg itself features a number of regional restaurants, cosy coffee shops, 3 super markets nearby, 2 banks, medical doctor, dentist, pharmacy etc. in close walking distance. The main street is dominated by show glass businesses (“Rattenberg- THE glass city of Austria”). The newly renovated stylish apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a wonderfully renovated old medieval building situated right in the heart of the small, medieval pedestrian town Rattenberg. There are only 4 apartments in the house (Südtiroler Strasse nb.49 -main street !!), one apartment per floor. Parking at parking lot 200 meters from house. No elevator. The apartment consists of 1 large living room, 2 bedrooms (master bedroom with walk-in closet), bathroom (2 lavabos, bathtup, bidet), small balcony (located on the back side of the building facing river Inn), separate toilette, kitchen, small storage room with a washing machine. The bedrooms are with double-bed (master bedroom) and twin-beds (children bedroom), the kitchen is fully equipped (stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, exhaustion etc.), the livingroom perfectly furnished including cable TV, radio and free internet-WIFI.
