We offer our clean and cozy apartment in the ‘Kwartier Latäng’ or in the Belgian quarter. A quarter, which is also known beyond the borders of Cologne also for its charm and the numerous offers of restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs. Although the nightlife is very lively, the apartment is almost a quiet paradise with no street noise because it is located in a rear building and has a view of a large landscaped garden.
The apartment has a very large living room with working area with a huge bed (it can be used as a second bed). The living room has an access to the balcony and the bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a huge cuddly quilt. (Both the bed in the bedroom and the bed are equipped with sufficient pillows and blankets.) The bathroom is small but freshly renovated. Ample clean towels. In the kitchen is a large refrigerator, coffee pod machine, microwave, oven and hob. Ample cooking utensils and crockery available. Wireless Internet access is of course also available.
The location of the apartment is ideal for all guests wishing to explore the attractions of the city and right in the middle – but quiet – want to live. In the immediate vicinity are the famous places: Rudolfplatz, Zülpicher Platz, Rathenauplatz, Barbarossaplatz, and the South Station and the University. For joggers, there is the greenbelt around the corner, where you can practice in the summer to all other recreational activities (eg grilling, sunbathing, sports). The cathedral and the Old Town, as well as most tourist attractions and museums are accessible by bus and train in 5-15 minutes and are partially reached by foot. The main train station can be reached in about 15 minutes by bus or train (taxi about 8 euros). The exhibition can be reached in about 20 minutes by bus or train (taxi about 13 euros).
There are parking facilities nearby (Zülpicher Wall) (day ticket 4 euro).
