The ‘Öxemer Stüffje’ is in the charming village of Üxheim. The village is in the northern Vulcan-Eifel region near the town of Hillesheim. The accommodation is on the ground floor, has a modern interior and a well equipped kitchen. There is a wonderful sauna to relax in. The area has a variety of walking trails and cycle routes. The Eifelsteig trail brings you to different elevations where you can enjoy breath-taking views. There is a wonderful cycle route running through the entire region on an old train track and almost all one level. The trail passes through the town of Schalkenmehren with its famous volcanic lake. The rivers Ahr and Mosel, known for their superb wines, are very near Üxheim and are well worth a visit.
