Property Description
Surrounded by nature, our mountain lodges provide an ideal starting point for a great, varied holiday in summer and in winter. The cosy mountain cabins lie above Klippitztörl in the south of the Austrian province of Carinthia at an altitude of 1,550 m.
With plenty of light wood, our cabins are nicely furnished and can accommodate up to 14 people.
The center of the ground floor is the spacious living-dining area with wood stove, which ensures a cozy atmosphere. In addition to a bedroom there is the sauna with 2 showers and 2 toilets on the ground floor. Another 3 cozy bedrooms and a bright bathroom and 1 toilet are found on the upper floor under the roof slopes. In the basement are the last two bedrooms, each with a double bed.
There are a total of 10 houses for 12 or 14 people in this cottage village.
Between the 02.12.-23.12. and 03.03. and 02.04. the skipass is included in the price.
From 07. 01. – 20.01. you will get the 6 day ski pass for the price of a 5 day pass.
For families with max. 4 adults we will make you a special family price. Ask your personal offer without obligation.
In the period from 01.05.- 30.06. and 09.09.-31.10. the minimum stay is 3 days, otherwise 7 days.
Arrival / departure day is from December to March always Saturday

In winter, you have direct access to the slopes of the family skiing area Klippitztörl with 28 kilometres of pistes and 13 runs. Ski rental and ski school are within walking distance. We also highly recommend a snowshoe walk on the well-marked trails of the Lavanttal. Discover as well the region’s culinary diversity and local specialities in the various ski lodges and restaurants nearby.
The surroundings with its plethora of opportunities are also ideal for a summer holiday. How about a thrilling ride on the 1,400 metre long summer toboggan run? The region’s climbing park and Lake Klippitzsee at a height of 1,800 metres are worth a visit as well. The beautiful Lavanttal valley with its dense network of well-marked hiking trails invites you to spend an active yet relaxing family vacation. Just a 15 minutes’ drive from Klippitztörl is the closest town St. Leonhard with its thermal bath. The cities of Klagenfurt and Wolfsberg can also be easily reached by car.
