Good Morning,
The ground floor apartment “Edith” is located in a quiet residential area in the North Sea fishing village Ditzum, four minutes walk from the dike and the idyllic fishing port with its typical East Frisian restaurants.
The apartment is suitable for 2 people, but can be extended to 4 persons with two extra beds. A baby crib is also available.
The apartment is divided into a kitchen with a fitted kitchen incl. Ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee and espresso machine, kettle, toaster, blender, various cooking utensils. Guests can relax in the separate living room with satellite TV and DVD player, which has the adjoining terrace. A barbecue is available. The bedroom invites you to sleep in a cozy box spring bed. The bathroom is equipped with shower and bath. Washer and dryer are available.
The minimum stay is set for two days. Below our prices:
For 2 nights: 46 euros per night
From 7 nights: 43 Euro per night
Children up to 14 years stay free. Children over 14 pay € 2.50 per night. With a maximum of two additional adults each pays 5 euros per night.
In addition, we charge 45 euros per stay for the final cleaning incl. Bedding.
Towels are not available.
Pets are not allowed.
Escape the restlessness of our time and treat yourself to some wonderful days at “Endje van de Welt”. The fishing village of Ditzum has preserved its character as a picturesque Siel and fishing village to this day. Quaint streets, quiet corners, the windmill, the trawler and the friendly people characterize its atmosphere. All in all, Ditzum with just under 1000 inhabitants is a small cozy fishing village, where the Ems flows into the North Sea.
The Bültjer shipyard, a well-known on the entire North Sea coast on wooden ships shipyard dominated with their halls the port image.
In the vicinity there are many attractions and recreational opportunities.
In Ditzum itself you can rent bicycles and kayaks.
The Ems barrage is within easy walking distance or the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg is about 35 minutes by car very close and not to forget the thermal bath Fontana Resort at our Dutch neighbors in Bad Nieuweschanz is a 30 minute drive away just to name a few.
Take the ferry from Ditzum to the other side of the river Ems to Petkum, from where the port city of Emden can be reached quickly.
Or take a day trip by boat from Ditzum to Borkum and back during the summer months. Spend an inspiring day on the westernmost and largest of the East Frisian Islands. The island train takes you there from the pier to Borkum train station.
And if you love cycling, you’ve come to the right place. Miles of bicycle tours through the open country with the always fresh wind increase the recreational value. On the well-marked network of cycle paths, the holiday can be really enjoy with a bike. You cycle past green meadows and dikes, dead straight canals, small and large seas, crooked trees, parks and gardens, mills and castles.
