The large over 240 square meters large main house of the house is located in the small Eifeldorf Rodershausen, within sight of the Luxembourg border and in the middle of the German-Luxembourg natural park. Renovated in 2017, the cottage was a restaurant with guest rooms for over 100 years and has now been adapted to the modern requirements of a holiday home. In its long history, such well-known personalities as Karl Marx, Victor Hugo and Jules Verne are said to have visited the inn.
The main house offers 10 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 1 large kitchen, – living room, and dining room and another guest room. A large terrace in front of the house is also available.
On the ground floor you will find a large living / dining room with kitchen and another lounge. A large bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet and a guest toilet with urinal are also located on the ground floor.

In the large courtyard you will find plenty of seating and a large charcoal grill for nice barbecues. Of course, there are enough parking spaces in front of and at the house. Since the house is located in the middle of the village, the volume of the clock should adjust in the evening.
Rodershausen is a typical Eifel village with about 160 inhabitants located 500m above sea level above the Ourta, surrounded by lots of forest and meadows. Outdoor swimming pools within a radius of about 10 km are located in Neuerburg, Körperich and Vianden. Only 15 km away is the AquaNat’Our Piscine Parc Hosingen with a covered water park, sauna world & fitness.
This holiday home is an ideal accommodation for the holidays of a large family or a group. The environment in the Southern Eifel Nature Park is magnificent. From the house you walk directly into the forest or the Ourtal. On the descent into the Ourtal you will be rewarded with magnificent views, such as the old castle ruin Falkenstein, the Ourschleife, the Our reservoir, the pumped storage plant and as a highlight of the tour the castle Vianden. True hiking experience is guaranteed here! But also mountain bikers will love the wooded hills and the rock country south Eifel.
The tourist highlight of Luxembourg – Vianden, which is known for its castle and its picturesque location – should definitely be visited.
Also nearby is the over 500 year old copper mine Stolzembourg. Guided tours are offered and a small museum can be visited.
