It is a unique, cozy house: a well planned bio-construction ideal for individualists, families and friends – it offers modern comforts with a country house ambiance. There is an inviting living/dining area connected with a modern kitchen. Opens to a large sun patio and garden with a breathtaking panoramic view. There are 4 bedrooms (3 with high quality beds, 1 with a high quality sleeper sofa), 11 meter south-facing balcony, 2 modern bathrooms with a walk-through shower and bathtub, guest WC and furthermore, a collection of our most exciting mystery novels, carport and park space. The spacious “open-plan” kitchen has above-average furnishings; the whole house has comfortable oak floors/floor heating. Guests can feel at home in the climate house (winter: cozily warm, summer: comfortably cool) on 180 m² and can enjoy the stunning panorama during every season: a country home that is as user-friendly as possible.
Löwentanz house: short history: The house is young, its story short: 4 years ago, we (Kevin and Caroline Roy) moved from London to Hong Kong. We still live there now with our daughters Annalisa and Jessie. Hong Kong is exactly the opposite of Bavaria: tight, loud, hot, over populated, artificial. However, our children need space, air to breathe, summer and winter, nature and a biologically intact environment. So in 2006/07 we built the house in Inzell – here is where we now spend part of our vacations. It immediately became a wonderful family meeting point for our German-American family and our Anglo-German circle of friends. When you live abroad with your family, it becomes increasingly difficult to spend time with family and friends. This is why we have created a place where people can visit us. And if it gets too full, then we can always get vacation apartments from the nearby “Gasthof Rauschbergblick” – ideal for large and small gatherings.
Why the name “Löwentanz”?: Good question. Our daughter Annalisa thought of it. The lion dance is a Chinese New Year’s ritual. Every year in February a large, colorful lion comes in front of Chinese houses and dances. His dance should bring the citizens and guests luck, harmony and peace. He expels evil and brings happiness to people’s hearts. Our daughter, Annalisa, is always impressed and so we named our house in Bavaria “Liondancehouse”,.
We didn’t find anything wrong with the symbolic content of the ritual. We also wish happiness, harmony and peace to our guests!
