In the immediate vicinity is the wine shop of the winery Balthasar Ress with wine tasting.
On the doorstep you have the entrance to numerous hikes – preferably equal to the Hessian state domain with stunning views of the Rhine. In the middle of nature and just a walk from the world famous Eberbach Abbey, filming location for the film classic “In the Name of the Rose” away (there are tours that refer to this film). Numerous wine tasting stands (the most beautiful is in Hattenheim) and wine festivals attract with good Riesling during the summer months. Within a short time you are in Wiesbaden, Mainz, the city of roses Eltville and Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, Niederwalddenkmal, boat tours, Loreley and the Christmas market of nations.
