The Twistesee, Diemelsee and Edersee are located in the region, where all manner of activities can be undertaken: cycling, hiking, motorcycling, water skiing, swimming, quite apart from tours and sights. However, a visit to the well-known winter sports towns of Willingen and Winterberg, each with guaranteed snow for winter sports enthusiasts in the winter months, is worth it.
