This house is in a marvellous setting, surrounded by a vast landscape of beautiful mountains, with good hiking trails that can be accessed directly from the accommodation. The holiday home is very well maintained and fully furnished in a cosy design. From the garden you look out onto the majestic mountain scenery around you. There are many options for daytrips to Italy from here. Venice, for example, is just a two-hour drive away. This holiday house is located on the border with Italy, high above Hermagor on the Nassfeld Pass in the Carinthian Alps. Down in the Gailtal you will find the Presseggersee, a warm lake. In the area round the house you will find babbling brooks and fabulous flora and fauna. You can hike straight into the mountains from here. In summer, Nassfeld is mainly visited by hikers and nature lovers. In the centre of Nassfeld you will find a ski station, a shop and a number of restaurants. You can hike to Italy from here. Naturally, the owner is very familiar with the mountains in this region and will certainly be able to give you advice on the nicest routes. He will even be glad to accompany you as a guide. This house is at an elevation of 1500 metres, which means the air is free from pollen, making this an ideal holiday destination for allergy sufferers with hay fever or asthma.
