The village is near the ruined stronghold of Baldenau and Ravengiersburg with its beautiful cathedral. The newly constructed Schinderhannes cycle route will take you to the heated outdoor swimming pool in Gemunden (2 km), the natural swimming pool in Simmern or the Argenthaler Waldsee (both 10 km). There is an indoor swimming pool in the capital, Simmern. Soonwald Nature Park is surrounded by the rivers Rhine, Mosel and Nahe. It offers many beautiful views and various geological discoveries for all nature lovers.
