The Naherholungsort Waschleithe located in the western Ore Mountains on all sides surrounded by forests at an altitude of about 550m in the conservation area “Oswaldtal”. The charming landscape and the cultural and historical richness of the surroundings make the area interesting for long stays.
In the immediate vicinity of the apartment you will find the nature and wildlife park with spacious outdoor enclosures as well as the display layout ‘home corner on Seifenbach’ with lifelike miniature structures of many attractions of Saxony. Another witness of the history of the place is mine ‘Herkules-Frisch-luck’. In interesting tours through the old tunnel you come across the traces of the historic mining.
