It houses a small gallery and a museum explaining the history of the building and the town. In the old cemetery is the 1350 built Protestant church. Worth seeing next to the church itself is the Jakobstein.
Take a guided hike and explore the southeastern part of the island of Rügen on foot. Let yourself be impressed by flowering herb meadows, fantastic views, bleating sheep and the sprawling Baltic Sea. Your perfect beach for swimming and sun can be found about 2 km from your accommodation. Between Lobbe and Thiessow you will find one of the best fine sandy beaches of the island.
