The building Görlitz, Obermarkt 29 “Napoleonhaus” is the most important baroque building of the place. It was built in 1718 for the Berlin linen wholesaler Wilhelm Schaumburg.

The three central axes are highlighted by four pilasters above the cornice above the ground floor and by highly sculptural pediments and a sandstone balcony over the arch of the portal.
