Stay in one of more than 230 square meter apartment spacious ‘apartment Geschendorf’, lovingly furnished with a mix of country style and modernity.
Overall, can accommodate up to 10 people in our five bedrooms a comfortable place to stay. Two generous bathrooms and a guest toilet complete the comfortable ambiance.
The apartment is located in proximity to other farms, so that occasional ‘open air’ can disrupt sensitive noses.
Surroundings: Geschendorf is centrally located on the peninsula Wagria close to Lübeck (18 km motorway) and Bad Segeberg (10 km). The direct connection to the A20 (Baltic Sea motorway) the east of Hamburg itself is (60 km) to reach. Although the Baltic Sea is not just around the corner, but 30km allows the seaside Scharbeutz and other seaside resorts reached.
Not only the World Heritage Lübeck, but also the southern foothills of the East Holstein Lake District with beautifully located estates invite you to impressive excursions. The county town of Bad Segeberg offers the Great Segeberg Lake and the Ihlsee one of the largest karst caves in Germany and the unique center Noctalis bat. For visitors to the Karl May Festival Geschendorf is conveniently located east of Bad Segeberg.
Apartment C is the core of our old threshing floor of the farmhouse. Good to see are still the old hatches was managed by the former hay, straw and grain on the threshing floor. Left and right went from the stables of cows and Perde, where today are the kitchen and on the other side are the bathrooms. Through a generous glazing on the basis of historic glass are bright space, we have succeeded. The dish itself is heated by a floor heating and the rooms have conventional central heating systems.
The furniture are all north German and some from the house. The great Empire hope chest has certainly brought one of our foremothers with in the house and in the braggart the best dishes were put on display. The oak cupboard in the kitchen (Founder time Biedermeier-style) has served for decades in the workshop as a coil cabinet and was warped severely by the load of iron. With much love and labor we have succeeded, the undergoing restoration furniture and to find an ideal place for it.
Plenty of room for more people
In five bedrooms can accommodate up to ten people. At eight but it will be a bit more comfortable. On each floor there is a bathroom. On the ground floor a separate toilet exists. An extra ‘media room’ relaxes the situation, if the film or music tastes are different or more present television is not desired.
