Quedlinburg is a 1,000-year-old imperial city with a medieval city centre. It is known for its enchanting half-timbered houses, some of which are 400-500 years old. Central point is the market place with its numerous cafes and shops. The palace with its gardens, a nearby park (Brühl) and the Münzenberg are also attractive tourist destinations. You can expect a cosy and family-friendly apartment in an idyllic location. The apartment is located in a quiet part of town (by the forest) but still in the centre of Bad Suderode with several shopping facilities. You enter the apartment (with private outside entrance) from an outdoor staircase. From here you can already get a glimpse of the beautiful view of the town. A private balcony with table and chairs is also available. The apartment is modernly furnished as well as completely furnished. There is also a washing machine, free parking and bicycle storage available. The World Heritage Site Quedlinburg, the Bode Gorge and the Hexentanzplatz (the witches’ dancing place) in Thale as well as other attractive Harz excursion destinations are in the immediate vicinity. The highest mountain of the Harz mountain range, the Brocken, is approx. 35km away. The "Romanesque Road" with its famous cultural monuments also runs through the beautiful holiday region. The town and region offers numerous leisure activities: winter sports, fishing, golf, swimming, hiking, cycling, wellness, cinema, theatre Cable car, a visit to a cave, Bergtheater, thermal baths and much more.
