The Ortenau is situated between the Rhine in the west and the Black Forest in the east, and halfway between Achern and Emmendingen. France is only a 30 min. drive away, Switzerland about 1 hour. The ideal location makes Friesenheim the perfect home base for trips in the region: The city of Freiburg with its famous cathedral, for example, is only a 50km trip away. The apartment “Seelenschaukel” is on the second floor of a two-family home, in a quiet street of Oberweier, a neigborhood of Friesenheim (Baden). The 90m² apartment provides comfortable accommodation for a relaxing vacation at the edge of the Black Forest. Four your little ones’safety, all electric outlets are childproofed. Mosquito nets on windows an patio door to protect unwanted insects. For infants, the bathroom is equipped with a baby bathtub; there is also 1 highchair in the kitchen an a changing table in the master bedroom. Your valuables can be stored securely in a safe.
