The object:
This picturesque half-timbered house in the heart of the Biosphere Reserve River Landscape Elbe Brandenburg has a unique location in the area: It is located in front of the dike and on the edge of an old Elbe forest. Water and forest surround the property, from which you can enjoy a direct view of the Elbe.
The holiday home consists of a main building and an adjacent annex, in which this just lovingly furnished apartment for 2-3 adults plus max. 1 child is located with private entrance (about 38 sqm). From the entrance, a steep staircase leads to the upper floor, where in a gallery area is a bed for 1-2 persons (120 * 200cm). The bathroom with shower and the spacious living room, where there is a well-equipped new kitchenette, a dining area and a sofa bed, join this gallery area. The latter can be converted into a very comfortable sleeping place (140 * 200cm) in no time at all for 1-2 persons. The impressive gable-sided bookshelf allows untroubled reading dreams. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob and oven – the cooking and pleasure delights are limitless. The living room has a south-facing balcony to the Elbe with seating and dining, which also invites to casual sunbathing. Especially from autumn to spring, the balcony allows a wonderfully unclouded Elbe view from sunrise to sunset.
Allow us one more hint: We have deliberately waived in the house on WiFi. We just think it’s superfluous in such a beautiful place where one prefers paying attention to nature. Or inside. You have the choice!
The location:
The house is located in the West Prignitz, in the heart of the biosphere reserve river landscape Elbe Brandenburg and the local nature reserve directly on the Elbe and directly on the Elbe Cycle Route. In the picturesque Müggendorf with just 15 houses, you can enjoy the full tranquility: transit traffic of motor vehicles does not exist, Müggendorf is at the end of a 2 km long dead end. With us the many cyclists have priority. Perhaps that’s why the many pairs of storks feel so good with us. And artists and actors have already discovered the place for themselves and settled here.
The old cultural landscape Prignitz is located in the extreme north-west corner of Brandenburg in Vierländereck Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. In Wittenberge 6 km away with IC / ICE connection halfway Berlin-Hamburg you have a rich shopping and leisure facilities with swimming pool, climbing fun and diving tower. Wittenberge also holds some culinary highlight with the Kranhaus under Alten Ölmühle. Impressive also the nearby castle Lenzen with an excellent organic restaurant. In half an hour by car you reach the spa and pilgrimage place Bad Wilsnack. There the Kristall-Therme welcomes you with a unique salt lake and a large sauna offer. With the ferry in the nearby Lütkenwisch you are in a few moments in the picturesque Schnackenburg and Mitten in Wendland.
