The “cottage Mats” is located on our property with garden in a small settlement in Emmelsbüll-Horsbüll.
From a dishwasher, a parking space, bicycles, to a hair dryer and a fully functional kitchen you will find everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Normally, someone is always at home. Since we lived for a long time on the Hallig Langeneß and have found our home in the north of Germany, we can answer any questions you may have about excursions. Whether a trip to the Halligen, Denmark or Foehr, please ask us.
So that the holiday is not boring, here is a small description of what you can do in the vicinity of all business:
Emmelsbüll is a small village, just outside the island of Sylt, which can be reached within shortest time from Klanxbüll. The Halligen, the North Frisian Islands, such as Föhr or Amrum and the island of Heligoland can be easily reached via a ferry.
Not to be forgotten is the bathing area Südwesthörn. In fine weather and high tide you can always spend a few hours here. At low tide you can always admire the Watt, a unique natural attraction worldwide.
The many cycle paths allow you to reach the destinations comfortably by bike.
Even shopping is no problem. In Niebüll you will find grocery stores, other specialty shops, restaurants, a swimming pool and a cinema.
Emmelsbüll is also known for its trout lake. Ideal for fishing.
Culturally, you will find the Emil-Nolde Museum in Neukirchen within a short distance. This historic institution should not be missed.
