The famous “Bächle”, or tiny open streams that flow through the streets of Freiburg, offer a perfect chance to cool down on a hot summer day. The area with the most fascinating architecture in the city center surrounding the so-called “Insel”, or “island”, extends from Martinstor to Schwabentor. Here you will find shops with antiques, books, and clothes, as well as wine shops, restaurants, and a goldsmith. Many carefully renovated houses of former medieval trade shops can be found on the streets Gerberau and Fischerau. The Seepark was opened in 1986 in honor of the State Garden Show. It’s located in the western part of Freiburg and is now a favorite recreational area for locals and visitors alike. Flückiger Lake forms the heart of the Seepark. Both the restaurant and terrace at the Bürgerhaus and the beer garden beneath a canopy of old chestnut trees are very popular places to relax and unwind. Favorite recreational activities for young and old are the miniature gold course, the bocce field, and the paddle boats. The Sportpark West am Seepark is also an attractive alternative, offering an indoor pool, skating rink, fitness center, and tennis courts.
This apartment is approx. 64 m2 large and offers space for up to four adults and one baby in a crib. It includes a high-quality, natural wood kitchen with ceramic stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave, as well as a dining area for 4 people. Guests feel right at home in the spacious living room/bedroom with a French bed (140x200cm) and comfortable couch, cable TV, DVD player, stereo system, WLAN, and Internet access. Our apartment is a non-smoking apartment; however, guests are welcome to smoke on the covered balcony. The comfortable, quiet bedroom has a double bed and large mirror cabinet. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, WC, and washing machine. There is also a basement with a drying room and storage space for your skiing or biking gear.
