Property Description
The apartment is located on the upper floor of an originally more than 200 years old residential building in the center of Malterdingen, in the traffic-calmed zone. It is accessible through a separate stairwell. The apartment is characterized by an open design and consists of four bedrooms with a total of eight beds – also for a toddler a cot, a living area, a tiled stove, which surrounds the dining area with its oven bench, a well-equipped kitchen with stove, oven and dishwasher and a bathroom with toilet. In addition, this holiday home has a balcony and is equipped with a satellite TV and Wi-Fi. What will hopefully not be distracting, are the old plank floors, which can be heard when walking because of age: they creak. Overall, it is very cozy, made of wood and has everything you need for self-catering on vacation: toaster, egg cooker, dishes, glasses, pots and pans.
In the upper living area, children in comfortable beds in a dream can reminisce about the experience. There are also books and toys for children.
Special prices for assembly workers: On request, the apartment is sometimes for a longer period (eg. B. for assembly workers) can be rented at the appropriate special prices.
However, the bringing of pets in this apartment, due to bad experiences with other tenants, unfortunately not possible!
Attractions in the vicinity: From Malterdingen you can easily explore the closer and wider surroundings. There is a lot to see and experience here:
With a historic steam train you can stroll through the vines of the Kaiserstuhl.
In general, the Kaiserstuhl offers amazing sights of the flora and fauna on appropriate hikes.
In the nearby Waldkirch there is a small zoo, and especially the very interesting and versatile tree canyon trail with adventure trail.
Speaking of zoo: Also in Freiburg there is a very extensive animal enclosure, the so-called. ‘Mundenhof’, an absolute ‘must’ for the whole family.
Where we already have the “must” are: The summer toboggan run at Bergwildpark ‘Steinwasen’ in Oberried you must have experienced and seen.
There are also many museums in the area with very different sights: Farmer’s Museum, House and Farm Museum, Children’s Museum, Museum Mill.
Also you can visit a bird park or a fish ladder.
Notes on sights: In the apartment ‘Falkennest’ we have a thick folder with brochures, maps and newspaper clippings addressed to you, which draws attention to the many leisure and business opportunities in the local area and be tuned. There is definitely something for everyone!
