You only have to walk 200 metres to reach the 156-km long, well-known Kellerwaldsteig that runs directly past the house. Worthwile destinations include Bad Wildungen with its mine site, Europe’s largest spa gardens, the baroque Friedrichstein Castle or a hiking tour to the Homberg mountain.
