The house was certified in September 2017 by the German Tourism Association with **** (four) stars.
Apartment – Ground floor:
The larger apartment on the ground and first floor offers enough space for up to 6-8 people. Right next to the entrance area is the guest toilet. In the hallway you will find the staircase to the upper floor and the staircase to the lower basement apartment. In the hallway on the ground floor there is also a built in wall wardrobe, where you can store your shoes and jackets if necessary. There is also a fixed wall safe in this closet where you can safely store your valuables. The remaining approx. 52 sqm of the ground floor are available for the living / dining and kitchen area. A cozy living area, which can also be used as a full sleep for 2 people, invites you to linger. A flat-screen TV and DVD player with Dolby surround system as well as various board games are also available in the living area. The large dining table is a real “eye-catcher” and can accommodate up to 8 people. Another dining table is located in the kitchen, which also has space for four to six people. A fireplace can be fired with hardwood and spread a pleasant feeling. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances, such as: large fridge freezer, built-in cooker with ceramic hob, sink and dishwasher, microwave, egg cooker, mixer, hand blender and other appliances for daily needs.
Also in the kitchen you will find a washer dryer with which you can both do your laundry and dry as needed.
Apartment – OG:
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a beautiful double bed and large wardrobe. Enjoy the view and the morning stay on the balcony.
In the large bedroom there is also the possibility to put up an existing child / baby bed. In the other two guest rooms are two box springs on which I hope you will find a pleasant, healthy and restful sleep. The rooms further on bedside and wardrobes.
All upstairs rooms are also equipped with its own satellite connection and flat screen televisions.
The large bathroom with shower, vanity and Fackelmann bathroom cabinet and toilet is enough space for a relaxing stay. The floor in the bathroom is pleasantly heated by an integrated floor heating and the towels can be cuddly preheated on the wall-hung radiator.
The rooms are equipped with easy-care and alergy-friendly laminate flooring or tiles (bath).
Apartment – basement:
The basement apartment has enough space for 2-4 people. A modern box spring bed with 7 zones – cold foam mattress provides appropriate sleeping comfort. The leather sofa set can be converted into a comfortable double bed in a few simple steps. An extra mattress is also available and increases sleeping comfort when needed.
The apartment can be reached barrier-free through a private entrance. The floors are equipped with easy-care and alergy-friendly laminate. The living / dining area is comfortably furnished. A decorative wall unit with flat screen TV and DVD player invites you to linger and relax. In the apartment you will find a fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, sink, dishwasher, stove or Oven with ceramic hob. Of course, all other kitchen utensils are available in sufficient quantity. Also in the kitchen you will find a washer dryer with which you can both do your laundry and dry as needed.
A modern bathroom with shower, and a separate toilet and a spacious hall with cloakroom and storage area under the stairs complete the overall image. Of course, you can use the terrace in front of the apartment and the property as well as the equipment thereon. This includes: 1 parking space in the double carport, the tool shed, garden shed, barbecue area, children’s game machine, garden furniture, etc.
Outside there is a caribou sauna with bio-combi-oven and a covered relaxation area. There you can relax relaxed and undisturbed and strip off your everyday life. The sauna is available to all guests. Operation is via an integrated coin counter (this requires 1 € coins). The sauna has enough space for up to 6-8 people sitting. The oven takes about 30-45 minutes to heat the temperature inside to about 90 degrees. The machine then automatically ensures the maintenance of the temperature.
With about 16 € depending on the desired temperature thus about 2-4 hours sauna operation can be ensured, which is equivalent per person in about an average price of about 0.50 cents to 2 € for assumed 8 people using. The provision and cleaning of towels and the cleaning of the sauna itself are included in the price.
The cottage “Carpe Diem Fassberg” has a garden fountain with the outdoor area is supplied with fresh water.
For the small and large guests there are various fun and games in the outdoor area available. You can slip in the light and shade, rock, climb, do gymnastics, jump trampolines, bolt and run. In addition to the large garden house (4×4 meters) there is an outdoor terrace made of WPC planks, which together with the brick fieldstone barbecue invites you to a relaxing stay with grilled meats, sausages and drinks.
Right next to it is another terrace, which is covered, however, and thus allows the stay outdoors even with any weather capers.
