Our small and modern apartment with kitchen and bathroom is located in a 45 square meter granny apartment in a charming townhouse in Essen-Kettwig. It is a quiet residential street (dead end) in a central location (about 5 minutes to downtown Kettwig). Before the house there is ample parking.
Kettwig is a small town (about 20 000) at the Ruhr in the south of Essen, enjoys pretty Altstadgassen, pubs, restaurants and beer gardens.
Our apartment has its own, separate entrance next to the main apartment. In the entrance there is a small kitchen with a maximum 3 seats, a small table and a kitchenette with 2 hotplates and fridge-freezer. The kitchen is equipped with coffee machine, kettle and all cooking utensils (pots, pans) and dishes. For a short stay we provide you free enough coffee, tea and filters.
Over a few steps you can reach the bed-sitting room. It has a sofa bed that can be converted into a 140 cm wide bed and a single bed, so that max. 3 people there. The room is equipped with a modern TV and free Wi-Fi. From the window you look across the small garden of the house on green valley in the direction of Kettwig. In a large wardrobe your clothes will find sufficient space. Via another staircase leads to a modern bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and hair dryer.
Until the Ruhr and the Ruhr valley bicycle path are by bicycle only 5 minutes, are also in close proximity to the apartment bakeries, restaurants and shops for daily needs. Visitors with wheels can leave them free of charge in our garage.
There is good road access to Essen (10 min. By car) and Dusseldorf (about 20 minutes by car) and to the fairs and the airport Dusseldorf (about 15 minutes by car).
Right on our doorstep there is a bus stop with a direct connection to the city center and Messe Essen. In about 10 minutes on foot to the suburban train to Dusseldorf and Essen. It is from there 15 minutes, according to Dusseldorf by train about 30 minutes to Bahnhoff food.
