The former farmhouse has been renovated since the year 2015 and has been partially rebuilt and extended. Our apartment is ready to move in August 2017 and offers numerous possibilities. The great ice cream café Lindenlaub is located in the neighborhood. It is centrally located and the village center Fischerhude in a few minutes and for generations also the home and activity place for painters, sculptors and musicians. In 1895 the rural life was enriched by the settlement of the painter Heinrich Breling, who grew up in Fischerhude. After the advent of Clara Rilke-Westhoff, Dietrich Speckmann, Otto Modersohn-Museum, and other artists, the “Village of Peasants and Artists”.
Old cobblestone alleyways, half-timbered houses, romantic garden cafés and small wooden bridges that lead across the Wümme and its side arms: West of Bremen, the charming village of Fischerhude is an interesting excursion destination.
