Your holiday Aufham is a small hamlet outside Eggstätts, between Salzburg and Munich and near the Chiemsee (Bavarian Sea). On numerous cycling and hiking trails you can explore the beautiful landscape in the midst of meadows and forests and bathing enthusiasts can let off steam at the nearby bathing lakes. Everyday stress and hecticness have no chance in this paradise.
Your apartment has an east-facing balcony, so you can already enjoy the sunrise or end the day.
On our family business you will learn about life on the farm with its cows and calves, chickens and goats, cats and rabbits and typical products such as milk, eggs and honey.
On the deckchair you can relax and watch your little one play with the sandbox with playhouse, swings and slide or cheer on using Bobbycar, tricycle and pedal tractor.
A nice barbecue is fun, but the cozy apartment offers enough space even in bad weather.
No matter how you want to spend your holiday, the Chiemgau can fulfill (almost) all expectations, regardless of the season. Surrounded by down-to-earth warmth, you can just be human here.
Bathing enthusiasts can enjoy the 17 natural lakes of the Eggstätter-Hemhofer-Seenplatte (the oldest nature reserve in Europe) or enjoy water sports of all kinds at Chiemsee, such as sailing, kayaking, paddle boating or motor boating.
Active health care or wellness is possible in the neighboring Bad Endorf in the Jodthermalquelle.
A mountain tour will reward you with a wonderful view and a hearty snack on one of the many mountain huts, but of course you can reach the mountain summit easily by gondola, cable car or rack railway.
Small children’s hearts beat on a trip to the fairy tale park, wildlife park or summer toboggan run higher, while the teens look forward to a tour of the FC Bayern stadium or the salt mine or prove their skills in the climbing forest or on the mini golf course.
Those interested in culture can visit the König Ludwig Castle on Herrenchiemsee, Kloster Frauenchiemsee, Kloster Seeon, Amerang Castle with arboretum, Burghausen or one of the many museums.
Musical events of all kinds (eg Castle concerts, music summer, Festivo …), home theater, knight festivals, folklore events or interesting exhibitions (eg in Lokschuppen 2012: deep sea) leave nothing to be desired.
