Property Description
Our log house with 250 m² in the Edertal, near Edersee is from the end of April 2018. On the same 1800 m² property is still our 4 star holiday home “Weitblick” www. cottage-edertal. de with 106 m² (no.-direct no. 789428) and our small 4 star apartment “Bergblick” (vacation-no. 2036631) with 30 m² www. holiday-edertal. eu. All objects with almost 400 m² for a total of about 20 people have a wonderful view over meadows and forests are located on the outskirts, integrated into the natural landscape of the Eder.
With our log cabin, we offer something extraordinary for large family reunions or larger groups. We offer the house from an occupancy of 5 persons and a minimum rental period of 2 days. It is a non-smoking house and animals are not allowed.
The massive wooden house is a former restaurant and offers exceptional space for 12-14 people. Through our two other holiday homes www. cottage-edertal. de and www. holiday-edertal. eu on the same property we can accommodate a total of 20 people who can spend a lot of time in the log cabin together.
On a total of 220 m², the ground floor log house has:

The huge living area offers spacious space. As a special highlight, we left the original counter in the room, where you can socialize. The cooling facility is available, but not the tap. In the original restaurant kitchen you have plenty of room to cook together well. In the basement there are still 2 sanitary rooms with 30 m², with three toilets, urinal and 2 showers.
From the partially covered terrace you have an unobstructed view over meadows and forests.
You can park lots of cars directly at the property.
W-LAN connection is available, so that you can obtain information from the Internet or send and receive your mails.
Animals are not allowed because the house is advertised as ‘suitable for allergy sufferers’. It is a non-smoking house and smoking is only permitted outdoors.
Shops are in the neighboring village in 2.5 km distance.
Due to the good transport links you can quickly reach many attractive destinations.
The wooden house is located in the Edertal, in Hesse’s green north in a picture-book landscape, the unspoilt UNESCO World Heritage ‘National Park Kellerwald-Edersee’ with its almost untouched beech forests and only nine kilometers from the Edersee with its water sports.
The charming bathing town of Bad Wildungen with its 20 medicinal springs and Europe’s largest spa park is approximately 4 kilometers away. The special charm and the many cultural events have made Bad Wildungen a feel-good city and oasis of well-being.
Anraff is a small, rural and idyllic village with less than 400 inhabitants, integrated into the natural landscape of the Eder and ideal for nature lovers. Since a few years, storks are again in the local area and can be observed while foraging on the meadows. Anraff is the ideal starting point for cycling tours around the Edersee and the Kellerwald, because there are several cycle paths in the immediate vicinity of the house.
The area is known as a tourist destination and environmentally friendly tourism.
