This ground-floor holiday apartment is located in the little village of Retterath. The apartment has a fresh clean look and is equipped with all the conveniences. There is a little private terrace at your disposal in front of the house. This is a nice spot to relax, such as after a lovely hike or bike ride through the abundant natural scenery of the Eifel. The town of Ulmen is only 12 km away and is definitely worth a daytrip. Visit the town centre with its nice little shops and restaurants, or the ruins of Ulmen Castle. You can also go for a nice walk to one of the maars (crater lakes), where you will feel like you’re in the Volcanic Eifel. Just over a half-hour’s drive away, in Wallenborn you will find a cold water geyser a fantastic volcanic phenomenon. An excursion to Koblenz, just 40 km from the apartment, is also a very nice trip for city lovers. Cochem is a bit closer and is the departure point for various boat rides on the Mosel River. And don’t forget to take a peek at the super-fast racing cars at the Nürburgring (12 km).
