In few minutes walk you are on the market square with the known Ludgerikirche, the old town hall, where the East Frisian tea museum is set up, and in the shopping street Neuer Weg. To the beach of Norddeich takes you along quiet roads through fields and meadows in 10-20 minutes by bike. The location of the North is ideal for day trips to the East Frisian Islands, and to the numerous coastal baths Greetsiel, Nessmersiel, Dornumersiel Bensersiel or, and also in the Netherlands.
