It is surrounded by wooded hills, which are crossed by endless hiking paths. Thanks to its middle-mountain climate during all seasons, it forms an ideal base for exploring this until now relatively unknown region. Excursions to famous cities such as Dresden or Karlsbad are certainly amongst the possibilities and of course, a day trip to the nearby Czech Republic is a must.
