White-tailed eagles, coots, herons, cormorants, ducks and numerous songbirds. The lake is very suitable in summer for sailing, surfing and rowing (rowing boat is available). There are in the village a beautiful bathing place with jetty and playground for the kids, here you can bathe your heart’s content. In about 5 km from the neighboring village of Gross Wittensee is the famous pony Naeve.
