Property Description
We (Thomas and Iris with our son Nino) have traveled many times and are looking forward to seeing you! Our house is located 5 minutes from Niedersonthofener lake in a small hamlet in the green Allgäu, 15 minutes by car from Kempten & Immenstadt.
We have a cozy, ecologically renovated guest room with tea kitchen (small fridge, coffee maker, kettle and crockery for breakfast / a snack).
For us it is important to have high quality (if possible real wood) furniture and mattresses made of natural materials (latex coconut and cotton) for a relaxing holiday and a healthy sleep.
Our hot water is mainly sourced from solar thermal energy, our heat from a pellet heating system.
We provide: bed linen, 1 hand + bath towel / person, soap, dish soap, sponge / dish brush, tea towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper, Wi-Fi, free parking.
In the immediate vicinity there are many beautiful half and day hikes and cycle routes.
On foot you can reach in about 15 minutes a nice coffee and the Niedersonthofener lake. In about 40 minutes you can walk to a small alp or to a restaurant, which often hosts barbecue evenings.
Locally you get from the organic farmer honey, eggs and fresh cow’s milk from cows that are in the summer every day in the pasture.
Waltenhofen with supermarket, bakery and some restaurants is 4km away.
There is a bus stop in about 15min run distance to Waltenhofen and Kempten.
In Waltenhofen there is a tourist tax of currently € 1.00 per person per night. This is paid in cash in our office.
You will receive a Walser Card, with which you can use museums, mountain railways and various leisure activities at reduced rates.
