Our 200 year old farmhouse, the “Alte Hof”, is located in a very central location in the charming ski & holiday resort Brixen im Thale. It was completely renovated in 2016 and modernized very comfortably, without destroying the originality and flair of this Tyrolean farmhouse. Organic bakers, supermarkets, restaurants, ski rental etc. are within walking distance. “Car-free, I’m there” is a real option here. The ski bus stops at the house (4 minutes to the mountain railway ski world, 1.3 km), by train you are in 9 minutes at the Hahnenkammbahn in Kitzbühel.
The farmhouse offers on two levels a good 200 sqm living space with very high comfort. All rooms are heated with a modern gas heater (some underfloor heating, some radiators). For those who can not or do not want to let go – we also have WiFi and Sky!
Ground floor: On the ground floor is a large hall from which it goes into the living room, the kitchen and a small TV room. The large, cozy, typical Tyrolean farmhouse parlor has a perpetual upholstered bench, old paneled wood walls and ceilings, and a tiled stove, which, as usual in old farmhouses, is heated from the hallway with wood.
The kitchen is bright, quaint, functional. Our favorite and the perfect place for long evenings in large groups as well as extended breakfasts. In addition to the electric cooking and baking facilities, there is also a wood stove, which may be cheered on. Wood is provided of course. Of course, the kitchen is equipped with everything important. Glasses, cutlery and crockery are enough for more than 12 people, a dishwasher makes life easier and an espresso / coffee maker, a food processor, raclette and fondue appliances complete the whole thing.

Children’s room can be used. On request we provide a children’s travel cot available. In addition, there are separate toilets on the ground floor and first floor.
Do not feel like cooking ?! No problem! There are many restaurants in the surrounding area. The Reitlwirt directly
next door is a good address, but also the Thalhof is highly recommended. Absolutely reserve.
The house also has a small enclosed garden, where you can barbecue in summer or chill on loungers.
