Breitenberg is located in the pretty Bavarian forest, which is also called the green roof of Europe. The Bavarian forest is the location of the first nature park founded in Germany and provides relaxation and leisure. Active holidays in the Bavarian forest are possible both in winter and summer with many leisure facilities. The cosy and comfortably furnished apartment is located on the first floor. The second bedroom (with bathroom) has a separate entrance which is also on the first floor. In this pretty holiday home in a quiet location on the edge of the Bavarian forest with beautiful views on the mountains you will spend a good holiday. There also is a cosy recreation room and a sunny panoramic terrace. The garden provides lots of room for playing. After an exciting day you can relax in the house’s own sauna. There are many walking paths in and around Breitenberg. The famous hiking path Goldsteig runs directly past the house. The swimming lake with water slides and boat rental is ideal for families. The animal enclosure in the national park is a favourite excursion destination for families with children. A further highlight is the ‘three-rivers-city’ Passau with its Dome and beautiful old town. For langlauf and Nordic walking enthusiasts the ski area with its 20 km long slopes is ideal. In Dreisessel and Hochficht (Austria) you will find well-maintained ski and snowboard runs.
