But tourism does not thrive only on the city’s rich history, as Brasov is famous also for its breathtaking sceneries, being situated in Transylvania, at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. This is why Brasov, unlike other tourist cities, makes a perfect place for a gateaway weekend or a full size holiday all year round.
