The individually designed apartment – 4 * according to DTV classification – is located in Paretz, a district of the manageable 800 year old city Ketzin on the Havel. Historically and even today forms Paretz a bridge between the historically developed region Berlin-Potsdam and the picturesque Havelland.
The duplex apartment with 2 bedrooms and sleeping gallery is lovingly furnished in country house style. Due to its location on the top floor there is a picture by the big round window that is always changing between the views in the Diversified Havelländische primordial landscape, vast meadows, forests, rivers and lakes, vast habitats with the variety of animals of all kinds opened. Flocks of birds and wildlife and the vastness of the sky, with its mix of sunshine and clouds can be heard equally from here, watch and enjoy.
The apartment has a spacious, light-flooded room with modern kitchen, adjoining dining area and a bright, comfortable living area. Here you will also find a cozy, slightly elevated and cushioned reading niche with its own lighting and a view into the open countryside.
A wooden staircase leads to a spacious refuge on the gallery, which – with two beds – invites you to read, play or sleep. The beds can be easily moved if necessary (small rolls) to use the free area during the day as a playground for children.
In the bedroom you will find a double bed, a spacious closet (and a small desk for your laptop – still in preparation). The double bed measures approx 205 cm x 190 cm, pillows and blankets are lined with natural-down.
The kitchen contains a stove (Bauknecht) with ceramic hob, extractor hood with exhaust air (!) outside, dishwasher (Siemens) and a generous fridge / freezer (about 260 l) from Bosch. The basic equipment includes u. a. a 28 cm stainless steel quality pan as well as all the utensils you would like to cook for your hobbies. The porcelain country-style house is from the Villeroy & Boch.
Washing: on request you can use washer and dryer, they are located directly in a utility room next to your entrance.
Facilities also include a modern HiFi Radio / CD with USB connection and plug for iPhone, a TV with DVD as well as a wide range of adult and children’s books for cozy reading evenings and selected CDs with jazz and classical music.
For the warm season is also a nice outdoor seating available. Early risers can observe the sunrise and enjoy the first morning coffee. Or how about having a barbecue with sausages from our butcher in the near Ketzin?
Excursions into the surrounding and distant surroundings are a paradise for adventures diverse nature: swimming in a 10 minute walk to the Havel with its clear water and a sandy beach for children, the water at the point only 20 cm deep. Supervision is still necessary of course – like at the seaside.
Rental of canoes, paddle boats, motor boats, bikes 2 – 4 km away. Boat trips to Potsdam and Brandenburg.
