The house was built in 1953 as a solid family home on a nearly 1200 square meters of land and from autumn 2015 to March 2017 redesigned and completely renovated.
The result is two comfortable apartments, a spacious courtyard and a large, natural garden. Out of consideration for other holidaymakers, pets and smoking in the apartments are not allowed. House Sauer is located in the outskirts. On the doorstep, the Rhenish Hessian cultural landscape with its extensive arable land and vineyards awaits you. The nearby forest, wonderful wines and our sunny and low-precipitation region are worth their discovery.
The motorway A61 and A63 are about 7 km away, as well as the county town of Alzey. After 11 km you reach the “small residence” Kirchheimbolanden, the popular Donnersberg after about 17 km, the spa town of Bad Kreuznach after about 25 km, the state capital and Gutenberg city of Mainz and the Nibelungen city of Worms after about 36 km.
Here in the Rheinhessen Switzerland you will find small, fine sights, an open and varied landscape and many festivals around the wine. Especially in the fall, when vineyards and forest show their colorful leaves.
By the way: A good drop of the winegrower, no matter whether wine, sparkling wine or grape juice, you get only a few steps from the house Sauer.

A63: after the Alzeyer Kreuz take the exit Erbes-Büdesheim and follow the L409 to Erbes-Büdesheim. At the crossroads in the center of the village turn left and after 3 km you will reach your accommodation in Offenheim.
